Buck 'n Beam's Social House & Campground is a family-owned small business that was built from the ground up and first opened in the Spring of 2012. Located on seven acres, we are nestled in the Northwoods amongst the pines. In order to minimize our impact to the land, campsite locations were selected based on the existing trees and topography.

Greg Symbal and Chip Bell are the current owners of Buck 'n Beam's. Greg is the son of the previous owners, Bob and Vicky Bowerman. Chip is Bob and Vicky's son-in-law. Family is important to us and remains the core of our business.

 

Why the name Buck 'n Beam's?

 

Buck and Beam are the names of the original owners' Basset Hounds. Their names played an integral part in the naming of the business. Dogs are a big part of their, and the current owners', lives. We love our four-legged family members, which is why the campground is dog friendly. While Buck has since passed, you can still catch Beam welcoming guests and keeping an eye on things.

 

What Amenities are available?

 

Buck 'n Beam's has several amenities that are offered to our guests:

• Less than one mile from the Red Cedar River! – Bring your innertubes, kayaks, or canoe and spend a day floating on the river. Kayaks are also available for rent.

• 10-minute drive to the Chetek Chain of Lakes

• Game room: Located within our social house. Children are welcome!

• On-site event pavilion available to rent for weddings, grad parties, memorials, birthday parties, company events, and more! We also use the pavilion and our back patio for live music! Call today to schedule an appointment to view the space or to reserve your event!

• On site playground/sand pit for the kids!

• Social House on site: from your favorite cocktail to homemade pizzas, philly sandwiches, burgers, elevated appetizers, and our daily specials such as our Friday fish fry, we've got your taste buds covered! Check out our menu!
